Herbed Gluten Free Pizza Crust (buckwheat)
Although this isn't quite like your regular pizza......it tastes really yummy. I topped mine with chicken, pepper jack cheese and bell peppers for a delicious tasting Fajita Pizza.
Ingredients: (makes 1 pizza) adapted from economiesofkale.com
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
1 3/4 cups buckwheat flour
3/4 cup warm water
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp basil
1/2 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
Mix the all ingredients together. Knead the dough for five minutes (use extra flour for kneading so it doesn't stick). Allow dough to rise for 1 hour. Spread onto pizza stone. Cook at 400 for 15 minutes. Add pizza toppings and put on broil for another 3-5 minutes or until cheese is slightly browning.
